About Us

Leeds Inspiring Change is the name for a set of changes taking place over the next few years in health and care in Leeds.

The changes aim to make care better and fairer, while helping to address the financial challenges faced by all publicly funded health and care services.

They are focused on addressing the following five goals, or outcomes:

You can read more about these goals, or outcomes, in the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2016 – 2021, a document that sets out how health and social care in Leeds will be developed and joined up to improve the health and wellbeing of local people. It was developed by the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Board after conversations with people across Leeds.

The Leeds Health and Wellbeing Board is a public forum where leaders from the health and care system work together to improve the health and wellbeing of the local population and ensure that the work being done across the NHS and local authority supports the goals listed above.
