Leading Change in Leeds

The Leeds Health and Wellbeing Board helps to achieve our ambition of Leeds being a healthy and caring city for all ages, where people who are the poorest, improve their health the fastest.

Councillor Rebecca Charlwood, Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and the Executive Lead for Health, Wellbeing and Adults

The Health and Wellbeing Board is made up of a group of senior representatives from organisations across Leeds, including Leeds City Council, the NHS, the community sector and Healthwatch, which represents views of the public, and leads on the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

Councillor Rebecca Charlwood is the Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and the Executive Lead for Health, Wellbeing and Adults. Read her blog to find out more about her background and interests.

To complement the Health and Wellbeing Board, health and care leaders from each of the key organisations in Leeds have come together to form the Partnership Executive Group.

The Partnership Executive Group works together to make the changes needed in the health and care system in the city to make services better, fairer and simpler while addressing our tough financial challenges.

You can learn about the latest developments from the group in their regular blogs, Working together for Leeds:
