Gathering your views: Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2016-2021

In Leeds we have an ambition to be the best city for health and wellbeing in the UK.

In a city as big as ours, no one organisation can make it happen, so it’s really important we all work together with the same priorities to achieve the same outcomes. To guide us, Leeds has one health and wellbeing strategy for all of us.

It sets the vision that Leeds will be a healthy and caring city for all ages, where people who are the poorest improve their health the fastest. It is led by the city’s Health and Wellbeing Board, and it is there for everyone in the city – everyone has a stake in it.

Earlier this year, we asked for your views on the first Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which ran from 2013 – 2015, and feedback on proposals for what should be included in our next strategy. Find out more here.

We received lots of great feedback to help shape the final strategy, which will be shared later this spring. Watch this space for updates!
