Would you like to be actively involved in planning improvements to health and wellbeing?
Wellbeing starts with people so when thinking of ways to get involved, there’s no better place to begin than with your own health and wellbeing. There are lots of things we can all do to look after ourselves and each other, even small changes can make a big difference. Take a look at the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy for some ideas.
The city’s Health and Wellbeing Board have set the expectation that people will always be involved in the design and delivery of strategies and services. This is part of the default way health and care partners work with people. Healthwatch Leeds also has a specific role in ensuring that local people are being listened to when changes are planned or implemented and will check that views have been taken into account.
Look out for future events designed to seek and hear your views of your health, your Leeds.
